Don Potter benefit Concert

Don Potter Concert to benefit Thompson Health’s Healthcare Education Fund

Singer and guitarist Don Potter first gained a large following in the greater Rochester area during the late 1960s as a member of the Show Stoppers. He later formed a duo with fellow ex-Show Stopper Bat McGrath. The two collaborated with Chuck Mangione on the Friends and Love concert, which also featured local legends Steve Gadd on drums, bassist Tony Levin, and Gap Mangione on keyboards.

He moved to Nashville after his powerful rendition of “Over The Rainbow,” which is where he played a significant role in launching one of the most successful acts in country music history, The Judds.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Elton John, Kenny Chesney, Reba McIntyre, Lyle Lovett, Mark Knopfler, and many others.  In recognition of his accomplishments, Potter was inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame in 2013.
